Boda Borg Germany GmbH, the successful Swedish leisure and adventure concept with huge adventure worlds full of so-called “quests”, has signed a lease agreement in Boulevard Berlin. The company will move into around 3,300 m² in the shopping centre and plans to establish a new attraction for leisure and group activities in the German capital. The opening of the new location in Berlin-Steglitz is scheduled for mid-2027.
The lease represents a further step towards diversifying the tenant mix in Boulevard Berlin and reflects the increasing importance of leisure and experience-oriented concepts in modern retail environments.
“The signing of the contract with Boda Borg underlines the continuous development of Boulevard Berlin and shows the demand for innovative concepts that combine entertainment, social interaction and active participation. We are pleased to support a concept that adds a new dimension to the center and complements the existing offering,” say Josip Kardun and Henning Zimmermann, the managing directors of Dunman Capital.
Boda Borg is a huge adventure world for teams that can solve up to 25 so-called “quests” together. Sometimes it’s about cleverness, sometimes about skill or real physical effort. The quests take you to many different worlds with lovingly designed backdrops, such as the jungle, a mysterious forest, an adventurous playground or a terrible horror cinema. Boda Borg promotes collaboration, creativity and problem-solving skills. The concept appeals to families, friends, schools, companies and other teams alike and has built up a loyal following in numerous international markets. After Bochum, Berlin will be the second location for the German team.
