As part of a comprehensive stay-vs.-move process, Colliers advised Maersk Deutschland A/S & Co. KG on the evaluation of its future office strategy in Hamburg. The result of the process is a long-term extension of the lease for around 12,000 square meters of office space at the existing location.
The aim of the consultation was to analyse the company’s long-term requirements for its Hamburg location and to evaluate various options for action. As part of the structured consulting process, different scenarios were developed, market alternatives were examined and economic and strategic framework conditions were analyzed.
The knowledge gained formed the basis for the subsequent negotiations of all parties involved. The strategic consulting approach made it possible to develop a sustainable solution that meets both the long-term requirements of the company and the interests of the other parties.
