Colliers has brokered around 7,000 square meters of office and branch space in the Dominium property at Tunisstraße 19–23 in Cologne to Deutsche Bank. The landlord of the space is Generali Real Estate. The lease was concluded for a term of ten years.
Deutsche Bank will reposition its Cologne office in the Dominium and develop a flagship there with new office space and a state-of-the-art branch concept. Currently, the space is still used by design offices. The co-working provider will downsize in the building and continue to operate the location in the long term. Deutsche Bank is scheduled to open its branch in mid-2028.
“With its central location and high visibility, the Dominium offers ideal conditions for a future-oriented flagship location of Deutsche Bank in Cologne. The fact that we were able to identify the space as an off-market opportunity at an early stage and closely accompany the process over a long period of time was ultimately decisive in order to implement a solution together with all parties involved,” says Cem Ergüney, Head of Office Letting at Colliers in Germany.
“Deutsche Bank is a tenant that is a perfect fit for one of the most attractive properties in Cologne. We are proud to have impressed with the quality of our top properties and our team and are very much looking forward to continuing our already good cooperation,” says Torsten Butz, Head of Asset Management & Letting Germany at Generali Real Estate.
