Logicor has completed three redevelopments in Germany with a total lettable area of around 65,000 sqm. At the Nuremberg, Langenfeld and Neuss locations, old existing buildings were demolished and replaced by modern logistics and commercial properties. The properties offer flexible space concepts for different user groups, including logistics service providers, e-commerce companies and companies from the light industrial sector.
The Logicor-Park Langenfeld is already fully let upon completion. At the Neuss and Nuremberg locations, Logicor is experiencing high demand from potential users, with the first lease agreement already being signed in Neuss.
“With the completion of three projects, we have reached an important milestone in our redevelopment strategy in Germany,” says Janica Gerecke, Managing Director, Head of Germany at Logicor. “The focus is on further developing our existing properties in a targeted manner and providing modern, sustainably designed space in established logistics regions. The initial leasing successes show that high-quality and flexibly usable space in particular is in high demand, even in a more demanding market environment.”
When it comes to sustainability, all three developments also take a uniform approach. The properties were built in accordance with the BEG 40 energy standard and are each aiming for DGNB Gold certification. The equipment includes photovoltaic systems for tenant electricity models, fossil-free heating systems and energy-efficient LED lighting. In addition, measures such as roof and façade greening or the unsealing of areas were implemented.
The three locations are located in established economic regions with excellent transport connections. Langenfeld and Neuss benefit from their location in the Rhine-Ruhr area between Düsseldorf and Cologne, while Nuremberg is one of the central logistics regions of southern Germany. All three properties thus enable efficient regional and supra-regional distribution and offer access to relevant labour markets as well as existing industrial and logistics networks.
