Comfort, location and service are increasingly determining where young and mobile people want to live – and this is exactly where the International Campus Group (IC) comes in. This is shown by a recent customer survey conducted by Global Student Living (GSL), the global benchmark network for student housing, among users of the IC brands THE FIZZ and HAVENS LIVING. A total of 1,815 people took part in the survey.
Students who live in THE FIZZ hotels particularly appreciate the friendliness and accessibility of the staff (83 percent) and the central location of the apartments (82 percent). Sleeping comfort (78.4 percent) and the quality of accommodation (75.5 percent) are also rated positively by the respondents. Other important factors are internet connectivity (73.6 percent), contribution to sustainability (71.7 percent) and management (71 percent).
Even better comes from HAVENS LIVING – IC’s residential offering, which is tailored specifically to expats and international professionals with high-quality furnishings and services. The central location (85 percent) as well as the quality of the apartments, the sleeping comfort, the design and the competence and friendliness of the employees (83 percent each) were particularly convincing.
According to GSL, sleeping comfort and apartment quality are among the decisive factors in the choice of housing. In both categories, HAVENS LIVING outperforms both the international benchmarks for Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and the comparative values of German private student residences – clear proof of how precisely the concept is tailored to the needs of expats and international professionals.
“The high approval ratings in the areas of sleeping comfort, location, building quality and service confirm the growing importance of high-quality living space and attractive additional benefits for young and mobile people,” says Christina Gentsch, Head of Sales & Marketing Germany at International Campus GmbH. “International Campus anticipated these trends ten years ago and set its own quality standards. Surveys like this are an important opportunity for us to continuously review and develop our performance.”
