Deka Immobilien has signed a new lease agreement for around 6,000 sqm of office space in the “Benrather Karree” in Düsseldorf. The international commercial law firm Taylor Wessing has secured the space on the fifth and sixth floors of the prestigious office property on a long-term basis and plans to move into it in autumn 2028. This means that long before the current tenant Hengeler Mueller moves out, which is scheduled for the end of July 2027, it has been possible to find a new tenant for some of the vacant space. Before Taylor Wessing moves in, the space will be comprehensively redesigned.
The ten-storey property from the portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienEuropa is centrally located at Benrather Straße 18-20 between the old town and Königsallee and impresses with its striking architecture and high building quality. The Benrather Karree was built in 2003 and comprises a total lettable area of around 30,000 sqm and more than 400 parking spaces in an underground car park. The property has the BREEAM “Very Good” sustainability certification.
