Deka Immobilien has signed a new lease agreement for 4,000 sqm for the "Metropolis-Haus" property in Hamburg. Limehome, the leading European provider of serviced apartments for business and private travellers, will use the space at Dammtorstraße 29-32 on a long-term basis. To this end, the office space on the 1st and 2nd floors of the building is to be converted to create 90 Limehome apartments. The renovation work is scheduled to begin at the beginning of 2026.
The "Metropolis Haus" property, centrally located in the city centre between Gänsemarkt and the State Opera, is part of the real estate assets of the open-ended real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienEuropa, which acquired the property in 2011.
