Distart Education GmbH is sending a clear signal of its long-term growth course and its commitment to Leipzig as a location: The education company has acquired an office property of around 2,600 square metres in Große Fleischergasse in the heart of Leipzig’s city centre. The transfer of ownership took place on 30 June 2026 and the transaction was accompanied and organised by BNP Paribas Real Estate.
The striking property extends over five floors and will become the central headquarters of the entire Distart Group in the future.
For company founder and managing director Thomy Roecklin, the investment is much more than a real estate purchase. It is an expression of the corporate culture: “We are convinced that good education is created where people like to work together. That’s why we deliberately create a working environment that promotes creativity, encounters and collaboration. With our own property, we are making a long-term investment in our employees, our corporate culture and Leipzig as an educational location.”
Since the company was founded, Leipzig has been the home of the Distart Group. With the acquisition of the property, the company is reaffirming its long-term commitment to the location and at the same time creating the spatial conditions for further growth and the close integration of education and business practice under one roof. The purchase price was not disclosed.
