GreenPlaces Deutschland Asset Management GmbH has acquired a plot of land in Langen near Frankfurt am Main. The seller of the approximately 5,000 square meter area at Robert-Bosch-Straße 2 in the Neurott industrial park is LIG Bau GmbH in Langen. On the site, GreenPlaces is developing a commercial park with 22 modular commercial units as well as additional so-called green boxes. Construction is scheduled to begin in late summer 2026, with completion scheduled for about a year later. The existing building on the property, the former headquarters of the Ross Europa company, has already been demolished; the area will be handed over levelled. On the neighbouring property, LIG Bau has built the new headquarters of Ross Europa as a turnkey new building.
A two-storey building with around 3,170 square metres of floor space is being built on the site at Robert-Bosch-Straße 2. The individual units have an average of around 144 square metres of rental space and can be rented or purchased individually. They are particularly suitable for service providers, craft businesses, start-ups or smaller production companies. The areas can be used as offices, workshops or warehouses, for example, and can be connected to each other if necessary. For example, a company can expand its space if a neighboring area is available. All units have a large roller door and a separate entrance door.
GreenPlaces is building the 22 commercial units in a compact building in serial timber construction. Photovoltaic systems are installed on the roof of the rented units and supply cheap electricity. A green roof ensures biodiversity and provides additional sound insulation. The commercial units are heated and cooled with a heat pump. At the beginning of March, this concept won the “Real Estate Manager Award 2026” in the category “Sustainability & Social Responsibility”. This is a prestigious award of the real estate industry.
Two parking spaces are available for each unit. The offer is supplemented by green boxes. These are single-storey, lockable units with a floor area of around 20 square meters, which are functionally more like a garage. They can be rented separately as additional storage space.

There are also several train stations in the immediate vicinity. With the location in Langen, we are expanding our network of sustainable commercial yards in an economically strong region.”

The city of Langen also supports the project. The project strengthens Langen as a business location and creates new perspectives for crafts and SMEs.”
The new Langen location is part of GreenPlaces Deutschland Asset Management’s expansion strategy. The company develops sustainable, modular business parks in economically strong regions and keeps them in the portfolio. The aim is to build up a Germany-wide network of around 80 locations in the coming years and thus provide flexible commercial space for small and medium-sized companies in particular.
