HIH Invest Real Estate (HIH Invest) has won a new long-term tenant for the retail park at Zuckerpassage 6-37 in Lehrte near Hanover, Lower Saxony. The non-food discounter Action will open its new store on Saturday, November 29, 2025, with a total area of around 1,000 square meters. In addition, the two large-scale operators EDEKA and Expert, both of whom have been on site since the opening, will remain loyal to the Zuckerpassage in the future. This means that the retail park, which was acquired by HIH Invest in 2018 for an investment fund, will remain fully let in the long term.
The retail park was built in 2004 and has more than 20 shops and a fitness studio on a total lettable area of around 14,500 square metres. Customers have 450 car parking spaces at their disposal. Other tenants include various well-known chain stores and various local tenants.

Lehrte has about 44,400 inhabitants and belongs to the catchment area of the Lower Saxony state capital Hanover about 20 km away. The retail park is centrally located in Lehrte, with other retail and catering facilities in the immediate vicinity. A bus stop is located directly in front of the property, and the Lehrter main station can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The A2 and A7 motorways are about seven kilometres away and offer good transport connections.
