Newmark continues to expand its advisory services in Germany and launches the Industrial & Logistics Advisory division. Armin Herrenschneider, one of the most experienced experts in industrial and logistics real estate, will take over as head of the new division on 1 August 2026. With more than 25 years of industry experience, he will build up a specialized team throughout Germany and advise owners, project developers and users on the leasing of industrial and logistics space and the marketing of brownfield and greenfield projects.
"The establishment of our Industrial & Logistics Advisory business unit is another milestone in our growth strategy in Germany. The industrial and logistics market is one of the strategically most important segments for our international customers, especially in the current market phase, in which it is redefining itself," says Marcus Lütgering, Country Head Germany at Newmark. "With Armin, we are gaining a proven industry expert with exceptional market knowledge, many years of management experience and an excellent network for this task."
Herrenschneider was most recently Head of Industrial & Logistics Brownfield Solutions at CBRE, where he was responsible for the repositioning and marketing of existing space. Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Co-Head Industrial & Logistics Germany for many years, where he headed the Germany-wide industrial and logistics business. His main areas of expertise included the support of international key accounts and corporate clients, the leasing of logistics and production space as well as the sale and development of industrial and logistics properties.
The new Industrial & Logistics Advisory division supports clients along the entire life cycle of industrial and logistics properties. The focus is on the leasing of modern logistics and production space, the development and marketing of brownfield and greenfield projects as well as the support of national and international companies in their location and space strategies. The team will also work closely with Newmark's market-leading industrial and logistics experts in the UK.
"The need for sound advice in the field of industrial and logistics real estate continues to grow. Investors, project developers and users are faced with the challenge of orienting themselves in an increasingly dynamic market," says Armin Herrenschneider. "Newmark already enjoys an excellent reputation in Europe thanks to its extensive industrial and logistics expertise. We now want to expand this successful business in Germany as well."
