On May 1, Dr. Sven Weberbauer (Director Real Estate Advisory, KPMG Germany) and Oliver Küppers (Founder, Küppers Real Estate Advisory) jointly took over the regional management of CoreNet Global (CNG) Chapter Germany in the West region, based in Düsseldorf. They succeed Steffen Skopp from Deloitte Consulting, who has led the region with great commitment for several years.
The President of CNG’s Central Europe Chapter, Lina Scherer, expressly acknowledges the commitment of the outgoing Regional Manager: “Steffen Skopp has shaped the West Region over the years with extraordinary commitment. His voluntary commitment has had a lasting impact on CoreNet Global in the region and has given our network an unmistakable profile. For this, he deserves our sincere thanks. At the same time, I am very much looking forward to the new dual leadership. With Sven Weberbauer and Oliver Küppers, the West region is gaining two proven experts with deep roots in the industry and a clear view of the issues that concern our members today.”
Looking forward to the new task
The designated regional managers are also looking forward to their new responsibility with enthusiasm. Weberbauer: “Strategically, corporate real estate is more relevant than ever for companies in all industries. CNG is the network that carries exactly this perspective. Leading the West region together with Oliver is a great opportunity to actively shape this exchange. I am very much looking forward to this task and to building on Steffen’swork.”
Küppers adds: “A network lives from people who support it. Steffen has created a solid basis for this. This is a privilege that motivates us. Sven and I see the West region as a real community that we want to develop further: substantially, openly and on an equal footing. I am looking forward to the talks we will initiate.”
New formats for the West region
Scherer, Weberbauer and Küppers agree: The next few months offer the opportunity to revitalize the network in the West region. Concrete formats for networking and professional exchange will be announced shortly. The members of the region can look forward to fresh impulses and new meeting spaces.
“We are optimistic about this task and look forward to shaping together with the members what CoreNet Global can be in the West region,” said Küppers and Weberbauer in unison.
