The AIF Capital Group has signed a new lease agreement for the “Am Feldberg” multi-storey car park: From May 2027, the Parkraumgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg (PBW) will take over the operation of the multi-storey car park in the municipality of Feldberg in the Black Forest, which is popular with tourists. The contract has a term of ten years.
Modern parking space in a tourist region
The multi-storey car park is particularly frequented in the winter months: The municipality of Feldberg is one of the most important tourist regions in Baden-Württemberg and is primarily known for its ski area and hiking opportunities. PBW plans to further develop the property with modern solutions for parking space management, for example, additional services such as the expansion of e-charging stations and photovoltaic systems are possible on site.
“Modern parking space is becoming increasingly important, especially in locations with high demand, such as the ‘Am Feldberg’ multi-storey car park,” says Thomas Häbich, Managing Director at AIF Capital Group. “This makes it all the more important for us to work with an experienced partner like PBW in order to further develop the multi-storey car park with additional mobility and service offers in the future and thus offer visitors and guests of the Feldberg an attractive parking experience.”
“We don’t see parking as a pure operation, but as an active part of modern mobility. With the ‘Am Feldberg’ multi-storey car park, we are not only taking responsibility for a strong location, but are also developing it further in a targeted manner – with technology, service and a clear view of future requirements,” says Anja Müller, Managing Director of PBW.
The “Am Feldberg” multi-storey car park is located directly at the Seebuck and Zeigerbahn lifts and offers around 1,200 parking spaces, 45 bus parking spaces, a publicly accessible toilet facility and a ski depot with 273 lockers. AIF Capital Group acquired the property in 2015 for a multi-storey car park fund.
