After the end of the three-year term, the owner-managed Dr. Peters Group repaid its "5.75% Flughafenhotel-Düsseldorf-Bond" issued in September 2023 to all investors on time and in full. All interest payments due during the term were also made as planned. The issue volume amounted to EUR 18 million.
The investment object of the bond was a new hotel building of the Holiday Inn Express brand developed by the Dr. Peters Group – with 324 rooms and a multi-storey car park with 397 car parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of Düsseldorf Airport. The upscale 3-star hotel is leased on a long-term basis to the tristar hotel group, which now operates 48 hotels in three countries with over 1,300 employees.
"With the full and timely repayment of EUR 18 million, we are ensuring the successful completion of our first real asset-based securities issue. The fact that we made all interest payments on schedule over the entire term of the bond is proof of the good operating performance and the sustainable earnings profile of the hotel we developed," says Kristina Salamon, Managing Partner of the Dr. Peters Group.
