The Nordex Group has received a new order in Turkey from Türkerler Holding for around 525 MW. The contract covers the supply and installation of 72 N175/6.X turbines and also includes a premium service contract for ten years with the option to extend to up to 25 years.
The order relates to the “YEKA-5 R25 Sivas” wind project in Sivas, where 72 turbines of the Delta4000 series with a hub height of 108 meters will be installed. Installation of the first turbine is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027. Thanks to good and constant wind conditions, the location offers ideal conditions for the N175/6.X.
With this order, the Nordex Group is further strengthening its position in the Turkish wind energy market, where it has a market share of 34 percent.
Türkerler Holding is a regular customer of the Nordex Group and is active in the construction, energy, healthcare, real estate development, renewable energies, electricity distribution and trading, public-private partnership projects and the textile industry.
Ender Özatay, Vice President Region Türkiye and Mid East of the Nordex Group, says: “Türkerler Holding has placed its trust in the Nordex Group and selected us as a partner for the largest single order for wind turbines in the Turkish market to date. We are very grateful for that. We are pleased to support Türkerler Holding’s ambitious growth plans in the field of renewable energies. Following our successes in previous YEKA projects, this order once again demonstrates the competitiveness of our N175/6.X technology, our strong local supply chain and the trust customers place in our team and technology.”
