"2026 will be the year of asset managers"

"The real estate investment market is in a similar situation to the German economy as a whole. We are observing a stable sideways movement, which is mainly due to the fact that large transactions have continued to fail to materialize. But there are also positive signals. For example, the number of total transactions has risen again and there is a lot of momentum in the small and medium-sized segment."

"We are currently still in a purchase price delta for many asset classes. The sellers are not yet ready to accept discounts, which is why the buyer and seller cannot agree on the price. We are again registering more activities from foreign investors, especially from Europe. These investors often have more confidence in the German real estate market than local investors."

"2026 will be the year of asset managers. It will again be a matter of optimising real estate, reducing vacancies and reacting better to user behaviour and the requirements of the market."
