For the newly launched ‘Quantum Light Industrial II’ fund, Quantum has acquired the City Dock Mannheim Süd from Panattoni. The modern and functional business park was completed in 2024 and has approx. 10,700 m² of usable space. The energy solution provider beegy GmbH will use the entire property as its new headquarters in the long term.
Quantum Immobilien KVG is expanding its Light Industrial portfolio and has acquired the City Dock Mannheim Süd from Panattoni for the newly launched ‘Quantum Light Industrial II’ fund. The modern and functional business park was completed in 2024 and has approx. 10,700 m² of usable space. Of these, approx. 6,000 m² are hall space, approx. 2,300 m² office space and approx. 2,400 m² flex space. The energy solution provider beegy GmbH will use all eight units, spread over two buildings, as its new headquarters in the long term.

The new ‘Quantum Light Industrial II’ fund follows the ‘Quantum Light Industrial I’, for which light industrial and logistics properties in established locations close to the city have already been purchased since 2020. The aim is to further expand through targeted acquisitions in growth centers.
City Dock Mannheim Süd – as good as new and sustainable
The City Dock Mannheim Süd was built on a brownfield in accordance with the sustainability criteria of the German Sustainable Building Council and was awarded the DGNB Gold Certificate. It is equipped with a 584 kWp photovoltaic system and is heated with district heating.
