Sonar Real Estate (Sonar) has successfully sold an office building in Cologne-Deutz as part of an extensive asset management mandate. The sale of the property at Siegburger Straße 229c was carried out on behalf of a pan-European real estate investment manager. Buyer is Ashtrom Properties Germany. The purchase price was not disclosed.
The fully let property is located on a plot of around 6,300 square metres and was built in 2008. Of the total rental space of around 8,500 square metres, around 88 per cent is office space and around 12 per cent warehouse space. Tenants include Omya GmbH, the Grobecker engineering office and Vössing Ingenieure.
Legally, the seller side was advised on the transaction by Clifford Chance and tax by PwC, the seller side by K+L Gates. ImoExperts Dr. Kühne & Böker GbR advised Ashtrom Properties Germany on technical issues. Colliers acted as a broker in an advisory capacity.
