The hotel in Lustenau, which was developed by SORAVIA and PRISMA as a joint venture in 2021, will relaunch in the 2nd half of 2026 under the Radisson brand. 1912 takes over the business.
SORAVIA, the leading market player in the DACH region, is expanding its hospitality portfolio with another international brand location. The previous Amedia Hotel in the Millennium Park Rheintal in Lustenau will be operated under the Radisson brand in the future. The hotel will be operated by Hamburg-based 1912 Hotels GmbH as part of a long-term franchise agreement with the Radisson Hotel Group. The opening is still planned for 2026.
The hotel was developed and realized by the two companies in 2021 as a joint venture. The house, designed by Dietrich Untertrifaller Architekten, was specially designed for modern business travellers and frequent travellers. With the repositioning under the Radisson brand, the site is now being upgraded and strategically developed. The building will remain in the portfolio of SORAVIA and PRISMA.
The location in the Millennium Park Rheintal is located in the four-country corner between Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein – near Bregenz and Dornbirn, in one of the strongest economic regions in Europe. The hotel has 114 rooms with modern interiors, a bar & lounge on the ground floor, contemporary meeting and event areas and a fitness area. Lustenau will thus become the second Radisson location in Austria after Graz.
The Radisson Hotel Group has around 90 hotels in operation and development in the DACH region and is focusing on franchise partnerships and the conversion of existing hotels in its growth strategy. With 1912 Hotels GmbH as the operator, an experienced hospitality company with a focus on entrepreneurial flexibility and local positioning is taking over the operation of the location.
