EQT Real Estate has acquired a logistics property of around 50,000 square metres in Bad Wünnenberg-Haaren. The seller is an international investor. Colliers successfully brokered the transaction.
The property with the address Graf-Zeppelin-Straße 9 was most recently used as a central warehouse for an IT company. EQT is planning to demolish the building and build a modern new building as part of a repositioning.
"We are pleased that we were able to successfully support the transaction despite the challenging market situation. With the new project development, EQT is responding to the continuing demand for modern and flexible industrial and logistics space and is sending a clear signal for the OWL region," says Martin Kubitza, Head of Industrial & Logistics NRW at Colliers.
