WÖHR + BAUER continues to develop consistently
Munich – The family-run real estate company WÖHR + BAUER is consistently developing its strategic orientation. In addition to successful project development, the company is systematically expanding its service development and residential business areas, thus setting the course for sustainable growth in a changing real estate market. At the same time, the Wöhr and Roeck shareholder families are making it possible for Managing Director Oliver Vogt to participate in the company.
The Wöhr and Roeck families have given the long-standing managing director Oliver Vogt (53), who has been with the company for more than two decades and on the management board for almost ten years, a two percent stake in the company and included him in the circle of shareholders. The graduate civil engineer and real estate economist has also been involved in the board of directors for several years and since the beginning of the year also as spokesman for the southern region of the Central Real Estate Committee (ZIA). With this decision, the shareholders are sending a clear signal of continuity and trust.
“The further development of our business models are important steps in our long-term corporate strategy and the inclusion of Oliver Vogt in the circle of shareholders is just as consistent,” explains Wolfgang Roeck, shareholder and managing director of WÖHR + BAUER. “Oliver has driven our company forward over the past more than 20 years with great commitment, entrepreneurial thinking and personal commitment and enjoys the trust of all sides. I am very pleased to have him at my side in the future, not only as managing director, but also as a co-shareholder.”
“For me, being a co-shareholder means taking responsibility for the future of our company in the long term. I am very grateful to the Wöhr and Roeck families for this,” says Oliver Vogt. “In recent years, we have consistently taken WÖHR + BAUER to the next level and focused on future topics at an early stage. Our current projects and leasing successes confirm this course. We want to continue on this path together with our employees, partners and customers.”
The WÖHR + BAUER management team led by Wolfgang Roeck, Oliver Vogt and Dr. Tim Malonn has recognized the change in the real estate market and aligned the company with the changed market requirements. The most recent milestones include the new Neulichterfelde residential quarter in Berlin’s Steglitz-Zehlendorf district, which WÖHR + BAUER is developing together with the Berlin housing association degewo, as well as the service development mandate for the expansion and redesign of the headquarters of Stadtsparkasse Augsburg. In addition, the company has successfully positioned itself on the market with ambitious inner-city district developments, revitalizations and high-quality office developments.
With these decisions, the Wöhr and Roeck families are underlining their claim to continue to position WÖHR + BAUER as an owner-managed real estate company with a long-term perspective, short decision-making processes and sustainable entrepreneurial action.
