Last Thursday, the topping-out ceremony for the innovative “Westgate” car park was celebrated in the “Feelds” business park near Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). A special fund managed by AIF Management GmbH as asset manager is investing in the project and, together with the project developer Minerva Immobilien and the future operator Goldbeck Parking Services GmbH, marked this important milestone.
The modern multi-storey car park will have 668 parking spaces, including 14 charging points for electric vehicles – with the possibility of expansion. The energy-efficient system construction, the open architecture for natural ventilation and measures such as amphibian protection and sustainable drainage underline the focus on ecological responsibility.
Denisa Bonanno, Head of Investment at AIF Management GmbH, explained at the topping-out ceremony: “We are pleased that we are fully on schedule with the project. Westgate exemplifies our strategy to invest in sustainable, future-proof mobility infrastructure.”
Completion of the building is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. With its location in the “Feelds” business park, only 1.9 km from the terminal, the multi-storey car park offers optimal conditions for a wide range of usage scenarios. In the future, a shuttle service will ensure the connection to the BER terminal and the nearby sister property “Northgate”.
