ENOVA takes stock of the current year and achieves 1.4 GW in its own operation. With around 400 MW in implementation, successful commissioning and further acquisitions, the company is consistently pushing ahead with its “HYP3R 2030” strategy.
A key driver is the numerous projects in the implementation. Currently, 14 wind farms with a total capacity of around 400 MW are ready for construction or under construction, including in Boldecker Land, Nettetal and Krempdorf. The competitiveness of the portfolio is also reflected in this year’s EEG tenders: All submitted projects were awarded a contract, each above the average value. ENOVA was also successful in the most recent tender round with six wind turbines.
In addition, the company has already acquired wind farms with a total potential of around 200 MW in the current year, thus creating the basis for further growth.
In addition, there are successful commissionings: The Meppen wind farm, the largest repowering project in the company’s history with a capacity of 65 MW, was connected to the grid in June. This was followed in August by the Gehrde wind farm with 12.6 MW.
The developments are constantly contributing to the corporate strategy “HYP3R 2030”, which ENOVA announced at the beginning of the year. By 2030, the portfolio is to be expanded to 3 GW and assets under management increased to 5 billion euros. The project is supported by three platforms: With ENOVA IPP, ENOVA Value and the newly founded ENOVA Generation, ENOVA covers the entire life cycle of a wind farm – from project development to the acquisition of wind farms with repowering potential and operation.
