Founding of ENOVA Generation GmbH: ENOVA wins Sosteneo as a partner for the next phase of growth

ENOVA establishes ENOVA Generation GmbH and contributes a portfolio of eleven wind farms (approx. 350 MW) from ENOVA Value. Sosteneo becomes the majority shareholder, ENOVA remains involved and continues to operate. The aim is to expand the portfolio to up to 1 GW.

Fewer turbines, more power: ENOVA commissions Gehrde repowering project

ENOVA has completed the repowering of the Gehrde wind farm and commissioned three Enercon E-138 EP3 E2 turbines. The 12.6 MW turbines replace four E-66s from 2002 and are projected to deliver 33,000 MWh annually for around 12,000 two-person households.

Nordex Group receives new orders for more than 197 MW from ENOVA and BMR

At the end of June, the Nordex Group received orders from ENOVA and BMR for more than 197 MW in Germany. A total of 30 turbines will be installed in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and North Rhine-Westphalia, some of them as repowering. Construction starts from 2027, commissioning 2028; 20 years of premium service.

Meppen wind farm on the grid: ENOVA implements largest repowering project in the company’s history

ENOVA has commissioned the Meppen wind farm after a construction period of around two years. Nine Vestas V172s with a total capacity of around 65 MW are forecast to deliver 163 million kWh per year – about four times as much as the 14 old turbines. Citizens and the city benefit financially from repowering.
