4:energy O&M GmbH was founded in 2021 and specializes in the technical management of ground-mounted solar plants in Germany. Within five years, a five-person team in Prenzlau has become a comprehensive operations manager and engineering partner with three locations in Germany and 40 employees.
4:energy is responsible for the technical management of solar parks with a capacity of over 500 MW. In addition, there are 110kV substations and transformer stations for e-charging parks of institutional operators and energy suppliers. The engineering team complements the technical range of services with planning and construction supervision in urban grid expansion, route planning for renewable energies and electrical planning for charging parks. A particular success is the cooperation to develop 2,000 charging points for logistics locations in Germany.
At the turn of the year 2026, 4:energy was able to expand its range of services for the commercial operation of renewable energies and reposition it with its own team in Dresden. With the signing of a management agreement for a 28 MW wind farm in Lower Saxony and the takeover of commercial management for an 18 MW wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein, the mark of 500 MW capacity in over 100 SPVs was exceeded in May. This means that a sustainable growth path with a total output of around 1 GW has been embarked upon.
The foundation of this successful growth is formed by the certifications according to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 27001 for information security management as well as the critical infrastructure audit by the Federal Office for Information Security.
