The City of Cologne has concluded a long-term lease agreement for a property at Industriestraße 133 in Cologne. The owner and landlord is a subsidiary of OSMAB Holding AG. Colliers acted as an intermediary in the leasing.
The property comprises a total of around 13,929 square metres of rental space, of which 11,399 square metres are warehouse space and 2,530 square metres of office space. The city of Cologne will use the location for the operation of its municipal building yard in the future.
The previous building yard location on Widdersdorfer Straße had to be abandoned, so that a suitable succession solution was required at short notice. With the property at Industriestraße 133, an optimally connected location in the south of Cologne could be found that fully meets the requirements of the company.

The successful brokerage illustrates the continuing high demand for suitable commercial and logistics space in the Cologne area, especially by municipalities with long-term space requirements.
