The Hamburg-based investment, asset and fund manager HT Group is strengthening its management team: Frederic Engelmann has been taking over the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since the beginning of the year. He succeeds Willem Steffen, who is leaving the company at the end of the month. In addition to Andreas Stegmann, Engelmann will be part of the HT Group Management Board in the future.
In his new role, Engelmann will assume responsibility for the areas of controlling, financing, HR, legal and IT. Andreas Stegmann will continue to be responsible for fundraising and will take over the areas of fund and asset management as Managing Director of the in-house KVG.
“With Frederic Engelmann, we are gaining a proven financial expert who has many years of experience in the real estate and investment industry. His extensive expertise in the areas of finance and controlling as well as his strategic view will make an important contribution to the further successful development of the HT Group and support us in the consistent implementation of our strategic goals,” says Andreas Stegmann, Chairman of the Management Board of the HT Group.
Engelmann was most recently a member of the management board and authorized signatory of Gundlach Bau und Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG in Hanover, where he was responsible for the areas of finance and controlling. After starting his career in auditing at Mazars and working for an initiator of closed-end funds as well as in the housing industry, he previously headed the finance department at Revitalis Real Estate AG. Engelmann holds a degree in business administration and graduated from IREBS International Real Estate Business School.
