The independent, owner-managed Praeclarus Group has appointed Dr. Stefan Klotz (57) as the new Managing Director of Praeclarus Invest GmbH. The doctor of economics has been working for the company since 2021, previously as an external employee in portfolio management for securities and renewable energies. He is also responsible for these areas in his new role as managing director. Dr. Stefan Klotz replaces Friedhelm von Zieten on the Management Board, who is leaving Praeclarus Invest by mutual agreement to pursue new professional challenges.
Parallel to his work for Praeclarus Invest, Dr. Klotz is head of the consulting firm vif-klotz consulting, which he founded, and Managing Director of Grüne Welt GmbH, which develops and supports sustainable investment solutions. He was Managing Director of Asset lmpact GmbH from 2015 to 2025. His previous professional stations include Bankhaus von der Heydt and Bankhaus Delbrück Bethmann Maffei.
