The Nordex Group has received a new order for 112 MW in Germany. The customer is NeXtWind Management GmbH. The Nordex Group is supplying and installing 16 N175/6.X wind turbines at a hub height of 179 metres for the Altmark wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt. In addition, the order includes a premium service contract for 20 years.
The wind farm is being built between Salzwedel and Stendal and represents one of the most important repowering projects in the region. Installation of the systems is planned from November 2027, with commissioning scheduled for spring 2028.

Saxony-Anhalt has played a key role in the expansion of wind energy for years. The Altmark has very good wind conditions. Large-scale projects such as the 112 MW Altmark wind farm underline the importance of the state for a fossil-free, secure power supply.
