Bremen-based second-hand concept FLOMIO is continuing its growth trajectory and will open a new flagship store in the Werder Karree in Bremen-Habenhausen from summer 2026. For this purpose, Flomio Holding GmbH has leased a retail space of around 1,600 m² as well as an additional 150 m² of office space on the 1st floor at Steinsetzer Straße 11 on a long-term basis. The landlord is Armado Real Estate GmbH. The lease was advised and brokered by Robert C. Spies Gewerbe & Investment GmbH & Co. KG .
Sustainable second-hand concept with strong growth
FLOMIO stands for a modern and sustainable second-hand concept in which private individuals can flexibly rent sales shelves. An app-based system allows used and homemade products to be sold conveniently. The range includes around 10,000 items from the areas of clothing, accessories, homemade, toys as well as vintage items and decoration. In November 2025, the company opened its first “flea supermarket” on around 1,000 m² in the former Galeria Kaufhof building in Papenstraße. Since its opening, FLOMIO has recorded high demand.
Werder Karree as a strategic expansion location
The new flagship store in Werder Karree will not only offer an expanded sales area in the future, but will also serve as an organizational center for managing growth in northern Germany.
“Sustainable retail concepts such as FLOMIO are becoming increasingly important and meet the zeitgeist of more conscious and sustainable consumer behaviour in urban retail. We are very pleased to be able to provide exclusive advice and support to FLOMIO in its expansion step,” says Susanne Maaß-Ebner, Head of Retail Leasing at Robert C. Spies.
Stefan Gerdts, Managing Director of Flomio Holding GmbH, also emphasizes the importance of the new location: “The Werder Karree not only offers us the desired visibility and optimal accessibility, but also creates ideal conditions for the further development and sustainable growth of our company.”
