Experienced project manager in the logistics real estate sector joins from Cushman & Wakefield
LIP Invest, the leading provider of special logistics real estate funds in Germany, is expanding its technical asset management: Julius Thyssen has been part of the team led by Alexander Eisfeld since the beginning of April. In his role, he is responsible for the technical support of around one third of the LIP portfolio, which comprises 65 properties. In addition, he is responsible for the overall management and implementation of complex projects, such as the modernization of heating systems and the structured tendering and implementation of smart meter systems.
With Julius Thyssen, LIP Invest is gaining an experienced real estate expert with more than twelve years of professional experience in the technical management of commercial and logistics properties. Most recently, he worked as a Senior Project Manager at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was responsible for technical due diligence reviews of logistics properties and technical monitoring during the construction phase. In this role, he has already accompanied several logistics properties of LIP Invest as part of acquisition processes and therefore knows parts of the portfolio first-hand. Previously, he worked for Tectareal Property Management and HOCHTIEF Property Management, among others.

In commercial and technical asset management, 10 of the 23 specialists are now responsible for the continuous and sustainable value and further development of the 65 logistics properties in the LIP portfolio. The team manages all activities along the real estate cycle – from the development and implementation of property-specific strategies to the management of modernisation measures and investments to active tenant support.
