At the end of June, the Nordex Group received orders for around 700 MW from wind and solar park developer UKA (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG) in Germany. The orders include a total of 100 turbines of the turbine types N175/6.X and N163/6.X with a nominal output of 7 MW for several projects in various German states.
In addition to the supply of the turbines, the orders include multi-year service and maintenance contracts that are intended to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the turbines in the long term.
Gernot Gauglitz, CEO of the UKA Group, comments: “With these orders, we are consistently continuing the implementation of our strong project pipeline. The successful EEG surcharges from the August 2025 and February 2026 rounds create the basis for this next large batch. UKA is on a clear course towards the installation of 1 gigawatt of wind energy capacity in a single calendar year – and these orders are further decisive steps on this path.”
“We are very pleased about these new orders from our long-standing partner UKA. With these orders for 100 wind turbines and a total capacity of around 700 megawatts, we are underlining the strength of our long-term business relationship. UKA is one of our most important and reliable partners, and we are proud to be able to make a significant contribution to the implementation of our ambitious expansion targets with our proven Delta4000 platform,” says Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Central of the Nordex Group.
