Tion Renewables GmbH (“Tion Renewables” or “Tion”), a leading European independent power producer, has completed the acquisition of an operational 69 MWp agricultural PV park in Schwarzholz, Saxony-Anhalt, from FEFA Projekt GmbH (“FEFA”).
The park went into operation in February 2026 and is expected to generate around 87 gigawatt hours (GWh) of green electricity annually – enough to supply around 25,000 households. As an agri-PV project, it combines solar power generation with the continued agricultural use of the area. A long-term power purchase agreement secures contractually guaranteed revenues and stable cash flows.
Ingmar Helmke, CEO of Tion Renewables: “Tion stands for attractive returns, operational excellence and profitable growth. This acquisition is a perfect complement to our strong operating portfolio: a high-quality asset with long-term secured revenues, developed and built by a highly qualified business partner,” said Helmke. “We would like to thank EQT Active Core European Infrastructure for their ongoing support and FEFA for the very good and professional cooperation.”
Manuel Sieth, CIO and CFO of Tion Renewables: “We are taking over an excellently developed and well-operated Agri-PV plant. Many thanks to Fabian Schwarzlose and the entire FEFA team for a smooth and professional process – we look forward to continuing our partnership.”
Fabian Schwarzlose, Managing Director of FEFA Projekt GmbH: “As a family business, we developed this plant from the initial idea to complete operation – so it was important to us to find the right owner. Tion has convinced us with its deep market know-how as well as fast and pragmatic decision-making, and we are confident that the plant is in the best hands.”
