The senior living operator LIVELY is continuing its growth course and expanding to Münster. In the “lively am Yorkpark Münster” project by project developer Landmarken AG, the fourth LIVELY location with almost 100 barrier-free apartments is being built. The opening is planned for the second half of 2028.
The “lively am Yorkpark Münster” is part of the largely completed development of the York Quarter in the Gremmendorf district of Münster and is located directly on the future Yorkshire Square. The quarter on the former barracks site covers around 53 hectares with a total of around 1,800 residential units as well as commercial, educational, local supply and leisure facilities.
LIVELY will operate around 90 to 100 barrier-free apartments on the upper floors of one of the new buildings of the “Neue Mitte York”. On the first floor and on the roof terrace, around 200 square metres of communal areas are also planned for the residents, which will create additional quality of stay and space for encounters.

The client is Landmarken AG, which has also been a co-shareholder of LIVELY since 2025 in addition to the main investor neworld. On the approximately 9,400 square metre site, an ensemble of two buildings with a total of around 14,500 square metres of space is being built for different forms of housing, retail, gastronomy and commerce. The ground floors are planned for food retailing, drugstores and restaurants, among other things. The residential offer will be supplemented by further apartments and offers for younger target groups, among other things.
This will create an environment with short distances for the future LIVELY residents: local amenities, bakeries, pharmacies, doctors and other services are located in the district or in the immediate vicinity. In addition, there are spacious green and open spaces. Thanks to the bus stop within walking distance, the new location is well connected to Münster’s city centre.

The project is also designed for sustainable operation in terms of energy. The apartments will be built according to the EH 40 primary standard. The ensemble will be supplied with district heating, and electricity will also be generated on the buildings by means of photovoltaic systems. DGNB certification in gold is planned for the overall project.
The senior living operator already operates residential offers in Gronau and Duisburg. Another location in Mülheim an der Ruhr is under development. In Gronau, LIVELY has built a residential quarter with 127 apartments in the historic “Weiße Dame” industrial complex. The location in Duisburg-Duissern, which opened in 2025, comprises 44 apartments.
