The Headstream Group has acquired the development project “The Gantry” in Berlin-Tempelhof, directly on the Teltow Canal. The approximately 14,000 square meter site has a building permit for commercial use with around 47,000 square meters gross floor area (GFA). Headstream plans to pursue and optimize the existing planning.
“With the existing building rights, The Gantry offers a good basis for further development. We see the opportunity to further develop the existing planning in a targeted manner and align it with today’s market requirements,” says Michel Anter, founder of the Headstream Group.
The transaction was carried out as part of a complex restructuring and in close cooperation with the creditor and the seller. KUCERA and, on behalf of the creditor, Simmons & Simmons acted as advisors.
Headstream focuses on real estate and projects where experience in structuring and repositioning is required in addition to capital. The company has many years of experience in dealing with complex real estate and transaction situations.
