After initial certification in 2010:
Aengevelt’s value management audited again without deviations and ICG-certified.
The “Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry” (ICG), founded in 2002 with its headquarters in Berlin with the aim of developing a real estate code based on the principles of orderly and fair management of the real estate industry, recognized the international importance of qualification through certification at an early stage and developed and introduced the “ComplianceManagement” certificate for the German real estate industry. In the summer of 2010, a first “pilot group” with six companies from various areas of the real estate industry was awarded the certificate from the circle of ICG members after successfully completing the auditing process, including Aengevelt Immobilien.
Yesterday, after another successful repeat auditing and certification process for “Compliance Management in the Real Estate Industry”, Aengevelt received the seventh certificate in a row, confirming the continuation of the company’s value management based on the ICG principles. The certificate was presented by Karin Barthelmes-Wehr, Managing Director of the Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry (ICG). Also present were Kerstin Baumgartinger of the ICG as well as WP Rolf Künemann and Senior Manager Real Estate Advisory Jochen Seidel from the auditing firm Deloitte GmbH, who once again accompanied the ICG auditing process until Aengevelt’s further certification, which is now valid until August 31, 2029.
The award was accepted by Dr. Lutz Aengevelt, Dr. Wulff Aengevelt, Mark Aengevelt and Max Aengevelt together with the long-standing members of the Executive Board Susanne Ollmann, Head of Human Resources and Values Officer of the company, and Volker Kartnig, Head of Accounting and Data Protection Officer.
“We are very proud to have been one of the first German real estate companies to be awarded the ICG certificate 16 years ago and to receive the renewed confirmation of our value management today,” the Aengevelt family members are pleased to say and continue: “With the ICG certification, we are setting another groundbreaking industry accent in the year of our 117th anniversary. The ICG certificate is in the context of our decades of work of targeted industry innovations and academic education and training offensives at the European Business School (ebs) and the University of Regensburg (IR/EBS), among others. Those who shy away from demanding qualification, compliance and transparency have no future.”
In addition, in late summer 2025, Aengevelt Immobilien’s strongly sales-oriented quality management system had already undergone a successful surveillance audit in accordance with ISO 9001. The company’s focused customer orientation means continuous optimization of the company’s processes and thus customer service.
This is also confirmed by the customer satisfaction analysis carried out annually by an independent survey institute, most recently for the 2025 financial year: 100% of respondents would “definitely” or “possibly” use Aengevelt again as a service provider, 100% would “definitely” or “possibly” use Aengevelt as a service provider. business friends or business partners.
