Solar Power on the Rise Across Europe

Fraunhofer ISE reports a RE share of 61.8% of public net electricity generation in Germany for H1 2026. Wind increased, and photovoltaics reached a record level of 43.2 TWh. Despite more storage, a memory gap remains; Electricity prices are largely decoupling from gas.
