The real estate developer and investor AVENTOS has leased 1,650 square meters in its Mannheim commercial district VAREAL to cleancaro GmbH. The family-owned company, founded in 2003, is taking over around 1,240 square metres of hall space and 410 square metres of mezzanine space, which will be converted into office space. Cleancaro will use the new unit as a warehouse, pick-up market and repair workshop for cleaning supplies, as well as an office.
“We welcome cleancaro to VAREAL and are pleased to be able to support the company in its growth course. The early letting well before completion of the rented space shows not only the attractiveness of our concept, but also its flexibility. This is because we can respond to a wide variety of customer inquiries – not least with regard to the required space size,” says Patrick Ibler, Head of Development Southern Germany at AVENTOS.

The new hall building in the VAREAL in Mannheim-Friedrichsfeld is aiming for the DGNB pre-certificate in platinum. This underlines AVENTOS’ strong commitment to sustainability – from high energy efficiency to the use of resource-saving materials.
With the ongoing construction work, the VAREAL is developing into a modern business park with an area of around 40,000 square metres. The historic charm of the more than 150-year-old area is retained, while the highest standards of sustainability, functionality and flexibility are met.
Thanks to the direct connection to public transport and the Mannheim motorway ring, the VAREAL is an attractive and easily accessible location for companies in the region.
