The international real estate consulting firm Avison Young is strengthening its management team in Germany. Tobias Scheutzow took over the position of Finance Director Germany on 1 July. He succeeds Steffen Schürer and will be responsible for the German finance division and will accompany the further development of the company from the Hamburg office.
Scheutzow brings more than 30 years of experience in finance, controlling, FP&A, accounting and compliance. His professional stations include Deutsche Shell, Systematics/EDS, Atos Origin, Microsoft Switzerland and Hapag-Lloyd/TUI Cruises. His focus is on integrated corporate planning, reporting, HGB, IFRS and US GAAP financial statements, transformation processes and the further development of finance teams and systems.
With this appointment, Avison Young is strengthening its organizational structures in Germany and creating the conditions for the further expansion of the company. As Finance Director Germany, Scheutzow is responsible for the strategic and operational management of all financial topics. This includes financial planning and controlling, reporting, budgeting and close cooperation with the international finance teams.
