Decathlon, one of the world’s leading sports brands, has extended its lease agreement at the Vis à Vis Wilanów retail park in Warsaw. The company, which has been present at the scheme since 2018, will remain a tenant for the coming years. The Decathlon store occupies 607 sqm of retail space at Vis à Vis Wilanów.
Decathlon is one of the world’s largest companies specialising in the design and sale of sportswear, footwear and sporting equipment. The brand offers products for both those taking their first steps in sport and more experienced users. Decathlon currently operates more than 1,900 stores across over 80 countries worldwide. In Poland, the company has been operating since 2001 and currently has 68 brick-and-mortar stores. Its offering covers products for more than 90 sports disciplines, complemented by a well-developed online sales platform.
Decathlon joined the tenant mix at Vis à Vis Wilanów in 2018. After eight years at the property, the brand has decided to continue its operations at the location and extend its lease for the coming years. The 607 sqm store remains an important component of the park’s retail offer, meeting the needs of customers interested in sport, recreation and an active lifestyle.
“We are very pleased with Decathlon’s decision to remain at Vis à Vis Wilanów for the coming years. We have been working with the brand continuously since 2018, so the lease extension is, first and foremost, a confirmation of our strong, trust-based relationship, as well as the attractiveness of our scheme as a place to conduct business. We want Vis à Vis Wilanów to grow together with its tenants and to remain a location with which companies want to build long-term relationships. The presence of such a strong and recognisable partner as Decathlon is particularly important to us and reflects the character of our tenant mix, built around stable, complementary brands and long-standing cooperation,” said Eliza Wielgus, Senior Asset Manager at Real Management S.A.
The Vis à Vis Wilanów retail park is located at 219 Przyczółkowa Street in the southern part of Warsaw, alongside the main road connecting Warsaw city centre, Wilanów and Konstancin-Jeziorna.
