Edge, the sustainable real estate developer and investor active across Europe, today announces that Marian Herman has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect. The shareholders have appointed Boudewijn Ruitenburg as the new CEO.
The change is accompanied by a strategic realignment. In light of changing market conditions, Edge’s shareholders and board have decided that there is a need for a greater focus on the company’s core strategies. As part of this focused strategy, Edge will continue to develop, renovate and invest in office and residential real estate projects, as well as provide asset management services to partners and clients. Sustainability remains a core part of Edge’s vision and offering and will continue to shape our investment and product decisions.
Boudewijn has more than 18 years of experience at Edge and has a proven track record of development, investment and customer relationship success in the company’s target markets. He has been instrumental in creating Edge’s entrepreneurial culture, which is at the heart of the company.
