ENERTRAG Service opened the new storage system yesterday on the Dauerthal energy campus. The name does not stand for an electricity storage system, but for a parts and knowledge storage system. In the future, central warehouses, workshops and training and education rooms will bundle material supply, practical qualification, induction and training for the service of wind turbines at one location. ENERTRAG is thus once again clearly committing itself to the Dauerthal location and the Uckermark region.
The storage system brings together what is needed for service on a daily basis. Components, spare parts and tools are available in the central warehouse, from the supply of small parts to large assemblies. Short distances and rapid availability shorten response times and strengthen the security of supply for wind turbines in the region and beyond. The individual areas have already been put into operation in stages. The central warehouse has been in operation since March 2026, the training centre since August 2026.
A place for material, knowledge and training
The name storage system was chosen deliberately. Storage systems have always been places of safety and precaution. It is precisely this idea that ENERTRAG Service transfers to the service sector: the storage system not only holds material available, but also secures knowledge and passes it on. In the training and education rooms, the company prepares trainees and people with lateral entry in a practical way for working on the system and regularly provides further training for experienced specialists.
Around 50 service technicians will work, learn and develop at the site. ENERTRAG Service is currently training twelve trainees. In this way, the company is meeting the increasing demand for skilled workers in the industry and creating long-term prospects in the region.
Tailwind for the Uckermark
The storage system strengthens the performance of ENERTRAG Service, the development of skilled workers and regional value creation in the Uckermark. For ENERTRAG the opening is a long-term commitment to the Dauerthal site and a visible signal for the energy transition in Brandenburg. The state of Brandenburg funded the project with around 1.5 million euros through the Investment Bank of the State of Brandenburg.
Guests from politics, business and the region took part in the opening. In addition to representatives of ENERTRAG spoke the Brandenburg Minister of Economic Affairs Martina Klement, the District Administrator of the Uckermark district, Karina Dörk, and Jörg Müller, founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ENERTRAG. For the inauguration, the participants cut the ribbon together in front of the service hall.
Martina Klement, Minister for Economic Affairs, Energy, Climate Protection and Europe of the State of Brandenburg, emphasises the strong ties to the Uckermark: “The opening of the so-called warehouse shows that ENERTRAG is taking responsibility for the future of the company and its employees with investments, training and new structures. Material, knowledge and qualification come together here in one place, creating the prerequisites for efficient service and at the same time securing skilled workers. The fact that the company is relying on Dauerthal and the Uckermark in the long term is a strong commitment to the entire region and an important contribution to regional value creation locally.”
For Dr. Anne Bendzulla, member of the board at ENERTRAG, the transfer of knowledge is crucial: “Spare parts alone do not keep a wind turbine running. The decisive factor is the people who pass on their knowledge to future generations and thus ensure that our turbines reliably supply electricity. This is exactly what this place does: it combines technology with experience and turns individual movements into real skills for our service in the Uckermark.”

With the storage facility, ENERTRAG is further developing the Dauerthal Energy Campus into a central place for service, training and regional value creation. The energy transition becomes visible and tangible here.
