FASTR, formerly EGC Energie- und Gebäudetechnik-Control, is now a member of the Central Real Estate Committee (ZIA), the umbrella association of the real estate industry in Germany. By joining, the company is further expanding its presence in the industry’s most important networks and underlining its ambition to actively drive forward the decarbonisation of the building stock together with the real estate industry.
“FASTR stands for consistency and reliability and at the same time for the aspiration to accelerate the heating transition in existing buildings,” says Jens Goldmund, Head of Sales at FASTR. “With our membership in the ZIA, we want to contribute our practical expertise from the real estate industry, contracting projects and cooperation with municipal utilities and municipalities even more strongly to the association’s work and contribute to: to advance the decarbonisation of the building stock.”
As an energy service provider operating nationwide, FASTR supports housing companies, institutional investors, municipalities and portfolio holders along the entire value chain. The company develops, finances, implements and operates sustainable energy infrastructures and thus creates economically viable solutions for the heating transition in existing buildings. In doing so, FASTR relies on standardizable and scalable processes in order to implement individual renovation solutions faster and more economically.
“Especially when it comes to decarbonization in existing buildings, it is important to develop economically viable and socially acceptable solutions,” adds Jens Goldmund. “If renovation remains affordable and the implementation is technically viable, the willingness to transform will also increase significantly.”
With its membership in the ZIA, FASTR aims to intensify professional exchange, provide impetus for economic decarbonisation and further expand the dialogue with housing companies, investors and political decision-makers.
