The IPH Group has brokered the first BASECOFFEE location in Munich. The all-day brunch concept secured around 230 square metres of rental space as well as a spacious outdoor area in the Meiller Gärten project development. The long-term lease has already been signed, and the opening is planned for the beginning of 2027.
With the ninth location, BASECOFFEE continues its successful expansion in Germany and opens up the Munich market for the first time. The settlement underlines the attractiveness of the new Meiller Gärten urban district.
“With Munich, we are tapping into one of the most exciting gastronomy markets in Germany. The Meiller Gardens offer ideal conditions for our concept to successfully establish our brand in the Bavarian capital. We are looking forward to welcoming our first guests at the beginning of 2027,” says Marcus Duwe, Managing Director at BASECOFFEE.
“We are very pleased to have accompanied BASECOFFEE on its way to Munich. The concept brings an excellent and modern brunch offer to the new quarter. Leasing shows once again that attractive urban districts create the right conditions for innovative brands,” says Lukas Bauer, Senior Consultant at IPH.
With the Meiller Gardens, a high-quality residential quarter was created in the northwest of Munich, at the Moosach train station, with daycare centers, boarding house, local amenities, gastronomy and office space. The project combines urban life with a high quality of living in a green environment. The construction project was developed by Rathgeber AG together with F.X. Meiller Gelände-GmbH & Co. KG.
The soul food restaurant group BASECOFFEE was founded in Bamberg in 2019. The all-day brunch concept offers a variety of variations from pancakes, bowls, toasts and freshly squeezed juices as well as smoothies. BASECOFFEE was awarded the Red Dot Design Award for its outstanding and unique brand concept. The organic coffee beans are sourced directly from the local coffee farms exclusively in a “direct trade” process and processed in the company’s own roastery in Bamberg.
