The French asset manager Arkéa REIM has acquired the Marien Carrée business centre in Neubrandenburg for its fund. The property, which is located directly on the central market square, was acquired as part of an asset deal for Arkéa REIM’s special AIF “Transitions Europe”. The seller is a project company of Achim Griese Treuhandgesellschaft mbH from Hamburg, which developed the property in 2019 and has held it in the portfolio ever since.
The business centre has a total of more than 6,300 m² of rental space and comprises 14 rental units with a mixed use of retail, offices and restaurants. Anchor tenants with long-term leases include TK Maxx, dm, New Yorker and Rituals.
Arkéa REIM was advised on legal matters by DLA Piper UK LLP. TA Europe was responsible for the technical due diligence of the transaction. JLL advised the seller and brokered the transaction, while the law firm BRL Boege Rohde Luebbehuesen advised the seller on legal matters.
