Logicor starts the shell construction for a redevelopment in Frechen. A modern logistics property with around 64,850 m² of rental space is being built on the former Kaufhof site at Werner-von-Siemens-Straße 2 / Hermann-Seger-Straße 22. Completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.
Logicor develops the property according to the latest sustainability standards and consistently aligns it with the future requirements of the customers. At the same time, the project creates the conditions for a more efficient use of the area.
The strategically located Frechen location at the gates of Cologne is in the immediate vicinity of the A1 and A4 motorways and offers direct connections to Cologne, Düsseldorf and the Ruhr region. The property thus provides ideal conditions for efficient regional and supra-regional networking of supply chains.
The redevelopment comprises approx. 54,000 m² of hall space, around 4,350 m² of office space and around 6,500 m² of mezzanine space. The areas can be flexibly divided and are aimed at users from the logistics, light industrial and industrial sectors. Rentals are possible between 5,000 m² and 54,000 m² of contiguous hall space.

Logicor is developing the property according to the BEG 40 standard and is aiming for DGNB Gold certification. The equipment is supplemented by around 132 car and 27 truck parking spaces.
