In August, Messe München conducted an online survey on the mood in the real estate industry. The result: 40% of respondents assess the current situation on the real estate market as “cautious” or “very cautious” (2025: 22%). In contrast, only 25% are optimistic (2025: 44%).
Dr. Lutz Aengevelt, Managing Partner, cannot confirm these survey results: “Especially in the last six to eight weeks, the mood among market participants has brightened significantly. Particularly positive: Realistic market assessments have now replaced wait-and-see according to the principle of hope. For example, a wide range of investors have provided us with additional sales orders especially for EXPO REAL. We are competing there with more than 100 selected investment properties from all asset classes and from all over Germany and a transaction volume of around 1.5 billion euros. The purchase price multipliers called up are adapted to the current framework conditions and market conditions and accordingly – as initial customer approaches in the run-up to the real estate trade fair show – meet with serious interest in acquiring.”
Against this background, Lutz Aengevelt, who will be at EXPO REAL together with the other four shareholders Dr. Wulff Aengevelt, Mark Aengevelt, Chiara Aengevelt, Max Aengevelt, a team of around 20 experts and the partners of DIP and CORFAC International, is expecting three intensive working days with many concrete project discussions.
Dr. Lutz Aengevelt: “Market activity and year-end business are much more important than in the last three previous years. EXPO REAL is the prelude and a very important cornerstone in this respect.”
