IMAXXAM, an independent partner for the management of real estate investments, has acquired a majority stake in Maximum Facility Services GmbH, further expanding its own business segment. As part of the investment, the company will operate under the name IMAXXAM Facility Management in the future. With this step, IMAXXAM not only wants to continue to offer and expand its services to external parties, but also to make the management and operation of the fund properties it manages more efficient and to make optimal use of intra-group synergies.
Maximum Facility Services was founded in 2021 and specialises in holistic facility management, including all ancillary services for residential and commercial properties. In the meantime, a team of around 50 employees at the Frankfurt am Main location looks after more than 50 properties in the areas of technical and infrastructural facility management, repairs and energy management.
Christoph Geißler, Managing Director of IMAXXAM, says: “With the vertical integration of comprehensive facility management services, we are able to ensure holistic real estate management from a single source – from strategy to property maintenance. This will significantly strengthen our strategic position in the asset and portfolio management business area for institutional investors once again and at the same time gain a well-rehearsed team with a high level of operational expertise.”
The management of the new IMAXXAM Facility Management consists of an experienced dual leadership: Volkan Aydiner, former Managing Director of Maximum Facility Services GmbH, and Alessandro Palumbo, Deputy Head of Asset Management at IMAXXAM. Together, they are leading the company into the next phase of growth.
“With IMAXXAM Facility Management, we are creating the basis for even more consistent management of our properties over the entire life cycle. This increases the stability and future viability of our real estate portfolios. External clients can thus benefit from our extensive fund experience,” says Alessandro Palumbo.
