Commerz Real has leased around 4,300 square metres of logistics space in the Visio industrial park in Munich to Deutsche Post / DHL for at least ten years to set up a new delivery base. From September of this year, the sorting, picking and delivery of letters and parcels will take place there, including with electric cargo bikes and vans. Until now, these so-called "last mile" services have been handled in the former parcel post hall, the area of which is currently being developed into a mixed-use district.
