On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the June SIX brand and the opening of the first June SIX Berlin, the PRIMESTAR Group announces the signing of a new landmark project in the heart of Berlin: June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz Berlin will be the brand's future flagship with around 350 hotel and stay units by 2028, combining both concepts.
With the project, PRIMESTAR is driving forward the expansion of its integrated brand platform June and strengthening its position in one of the most dynamic urban hotel markets in Europe. Following the opening of June SIX Salzburg in March this year and the market entry of June Lux in the luxury segment, the project in Berlin marks the next milestone in the further development of the June ecosystem.
With his "travel.work.live." ecosystem, PRIMESTAR has created a modular and fully integrated offering that combines June SIX, June Stay and WorX into a holistic guest experience.
With the already very successful June SIX at Savignyplatz, which was opened exactly four years ago as the first hotel under the June SIX brand, the PRIMESTAR Group is significantly expanding its presence in Berlin through the new development. At the same time, it is consolidating its position in this core market and strengthening the size and dynamism of the growing June cluster in the German capital.
New flagship of the June brand and urban hotspot in Berlin
The listed historic building is located in the heart of Berlin-Friedrichshain in the immediate vicinity of the Warschauer Platz S-Bahn station and was built in 1909 as a higher weaving school according to designs by the renowned Berlin city planning officer Ludwig Hoffmann. With its striking red brick façade, large arched windows and ornamental details, the landmark building is being carefully developed into a contemporary urban hotspot without losing its historic charm. In the landscaped inner courtyard, an urban oasis with a wide range of food and beverage offerings is being created, which consistently continues the June Green Standard established in June Garda Lake.
With over 350 units, June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz will be the largest project in the June portfolio to date. For the first time, the combined concept of hotel and extended stay will be implemented on this scale and further developed into an integrated, future-oriented urban offering. Due to its proximity to the UBER Arena and several urban hotspots in Berlin, the project will also become a central location for innovation.
The project underlines PRIMESTAR's strategic focus on central city centre locations as well as on flexible, scalable and modular concepts that meet the changing requirements of modern guests.
Unique and integrated concept for urban travelers
The focus is on a holistic concept that seamlessly combines the hotel industry, living and working. June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz combines boutique hotel rooms, flexible extended-stay units and WorX workspace offerings into a networked overall offering.
This hybrid concept is aimed at a new generation of travelers and urban users who expect flexibility, community and multifunctional spaces that adapt seamlessly between traveling, working and living.
Open lounge areas, curated gastronomy concepts and community-oriented areas create a lively meeting place and position the house not only as accommodation, but also as an urban hub. The June Barista Bar allows guests to start their day in comfort by ordering coffee directly from their bed via smartphone and enjoying it freshly prepared without waiting. Later in the day, drinks and high-quality artisanal dishes will also be available. The amenities of the house include a spacious fitness area, a sauna and washing facilities for long-stay guests.
Integration of June and technology at a new level
Building on PRIMESTAR's own technology platform, the Berlin location will represent the most comprehensive implementation of the Group's digital strategy to date. The entire guest journey is designed digitally – from booking and WhatsApp-based check-in to AI-powered concierge services and intelligent room functions. Digital and physical touchpoints intertwine seamlessly, increasing both operational efficiency and convenience for guests.
The project sets new standards for the targeted use of technology in the hospitality industry, without neglecting service quality or personal interaction.
Dr. Roland Rausch, Chairman and Owner of the PRIMESTAR Group: "June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz is a groundbreaking project for our brand. It shows how our integrated approach can be scaled in a European metropolis without losing the flexibility, design aspiration and digital innovation that characterize June. June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz will take the ́June Hotel ́ experience to a new level."
Ronald Giese, Managing Director of the PRIMESTAR Group: "With this project, we are taking the next logical step in the further development of our platform. The combination of size, location and full integration of our ecosystem allows us to unleash June's full potential and combine hospitality, living and working in an efficient and future-oriented way."
